Texas Menopause is located in Katy Texas (Greater Houston Texas). We treat women going through the process of natural menopause, surgical menopause and  pre menopause. In addition, we treat women having hormonal imbalances caused by the natural aging process, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), low sex drive and ovarian pathologies.

 

 

Joel Rivera Jimenez  M.D (Menopause Doctor) 

Dr Joel Rivera Jimenez is a board certified Gynecologist and Menopause Doctor since 2011. He graduated from medical school in 2003. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Menopause.

Over his career he had helped thousands of women overcome symptoms of menopause and perimenopause.  Furthermore he also educates patients when to avoid unnecessary hysterectomies or surgical procedures that could potentially affect their hormonal balance.

 

 

Medical Education

Doctor Rivera finished his bachelor degree in Nutritional Sciences at Michigan State University in 1999. He has been in love with the field of nutrition, human metabolism and hormone balancing ever since. He went to medical School In Guadalajara Mexico. And lastly he finished his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency in Ponce Puerto Rico where he served as chief resident and was selected as Resident of the year in 2007.

 

 

Anti- Aging and Menopause Specialty

For many years he has been a member of the North American Menopause Society . Since 2008 he has been working in private practice as a Gynecologist and Menopause Doctor. In addition to that he successfully finished in 2015 a Functional Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine Fellowship A4M.

A4m is the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine established in 1992. They provide an advanced network of medical eduction to providers to combat hormonal imbalances and age related medical conditions.

 

 

Personal Information 

Born in Puerto Rico, a beautiful tropical island, he can speak Spanish and English fluently. He moved to Katy Texas with his wife and children in 2013 after working for a few years in his native island of Puerto Rico. Since then he has been working At Pink Women Center located in 23960 Katy Freeway Suite 350 Katy Texas as a Gynecologist and Menopause Doctor.

Besides working as a Menopause Doctor in Katy Texas, he enjoys outdoor and landscape photography and videography and making memories with his family through the art of photography.
